AC系、NKT、日立２sbまで
色々な国の色々なシリーズを試し
行き着いたのが
MullardのOC72でした。

ブーミーになりすぎず
良いつまり感も出せ、
アタックも気持ちよく
色々なアンプでも
特色を消すことなく’味’や’色気’を出せるように
チューニングしました。

台数極少数でしか作れていませんが
パーツを入手出来次第制作していきます。

The Tone Bender is one of the most iconic sounds in the history of British fuzz.

Crazy Rock’n’roll Effecter has spent years researching vintage fuzz circuits, germanium transistors, and the unique character of early British fuzz pedals.

Our Tone Bender-inspired fuzzes are built by hand in Japan, using carefully selected germanium transistors and vintage-style circuitry.

The goal is not simply to reproduce an old circuit.

We want to capture the raw, organic character of vintage British fuzz while creating an instrument that responds naturally to your guitar and amplifier.

Vintage Germanium Sound

Germanium transistors are extremely sensitive to their individual characteristics.

Even transistors with the same part number can sound completely different.

This is one of the reasons why vintage Tone Bender-style fuzz pedals have such a unique character.

We carefully select and test each transistor before using it in our pedals.

Depending on the model, we use vintage germanium transistors such as Mullard OC72, OC43, OC44, OC45, OC77, OC81 and other carefully selected devices.

The result is a rich, dynamic and unpredictable fuzz character that is difficult to reproduce with modern mass-produced components.

From Clean Boost to Wild Fuzz

Our Tone Bender-style circuits are designed to respond strongly to your playing dynamics.

Roll back your guitar volume and the fuzz cleans up naturally.

Turn up the guitar and hit the strings harder, and the circuit responds with a thick, aggressive and harmonically rich fuzz.

This interaction between the guitar, the pedal and the amplifier is an essential part of the vintage fuzz experience.

I handle the circuit design, component selection, wiring, assembly, finishing and testing.
